Ceramic Co2 Diffuser Not Working

I bought this and its not working with my current set co2 set up.

Ceramic co2 diffuser not working.

Do not use distilled water as this affects the diffusion. I soaked it in bleach over night read online that that s how you clean them but it still is plugged. Cleaning my ceramic co2 diffuser with hydrogen peroxide and bleach the only one that worked was the peroxide. Trying to find a commerically good inline external co2 diffuser reactor that can work with 16 22 mm ehiem 2028 filter.

People often get water inside the diffuser through overfilling bumping or moving the diffuser around while full. I just bought my first co2 diffuser about 2 weeks ago and now its not working. If your diffuser does not work the first step is to make sure it is properly plugged in. If water or essential oil enters the diffuser it will quit working.

I purchased both in the event of one not working i could always try the other one. I have 5 cheap co2 glass diffusers. Afer re attaching it the co2 is not coming out the glass ceramic diffuser although the bubble counter is still showing 2bps exactly the same as before. Fluval ceramic 88g co2 diffuser 3 1 ounces.

30th jan 2008 at 12 00. Hi i topped up the water in my bubble counter yesterday morning as the level was getting low. A possible cause may be mineral or oil buildup causing the unit to have difficulty misting. The reason i ask is because the one diffuser that does work puts out very tiny co2 bubbles which is clearly dispersed across my 2 foot tank at 1 2 b s however the other diffuser require a bit more pressure.

The aquamedic 1000 reactor looks good but need to step down to fit 12 mm inlet anyone has any good recommendations. It doesn t look like anythings wrong with it. Its a glass diffuser with i think a ceramic insert. At first i thought it was the tubing but i turned on the co2 it s passing through.

Did i do something wrong. I was curious to know what peoples experiences were with diy co2 dispensers and fluval s co2 diffuser and or glass diffusers. If it s plugged in and the lights nor mist will turn on make sure there is power coming from your source. Last edited by o2bubble.

I got the hagen fluval ceramic co2 diffuser and it s not working. Co2 diffuser not working. I mixed the sugar and water while hot then it cooled and i added the yeast and baking soda. It has the tiniest stream of bubbles coming out as though it has just turned off for the night.

All but 1 diffuser requires a lot of pressure to work. The recipe ive been using is 2 cups sugar 1 4 tsp yeast 1 2 tsp baking soda with a 1 89 litre bottle filled 3 4 of the way with water. Ive seen some users have ceramic disk diffusers and its works fine. By luna 2 years ago on aquarium equipment.

Make sure you are using only filtered water tap water or spring water. I m using diy by the way.
